Patrick Nelson
Patrick has gained both local and national accolades for his military service, academic career, and work as a professional speaker and trainer including being named the inaugural NFL-Tillman Military Scholar.
He is an experienced leader that spent nearly seven years in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and completed three combat deployments leading soldiers. His military awards include the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart Medal.
Patrick studied at Minnesota State University and received a bachelor’s degree graduating Magna Cum Laude. He also has a master’s degree in Sport Management from Minnesota State and a Masters in Organization Development from Pepperdine University.
Linda H. Karr
A dynamic professional with a unique blend of skills in community relations, fundraising, and marketing. Known for building robust relationships across diverse organizational levels and communities, I excel in fostering connections that benefit both the organization and its stakeholders.

Khisrao Shoar
Khisrao Shoar, with over 10 years in project management and administration, is a multilingual professional skilled in languages including English, Pashto, Dari/Persian, and Urdu.
Currently serving as an Immigrant Legal Services Case Manager in Texas, Shoar has a rich background in public engagement, program management, and office administration. He holds an MBA in Project Management/Strategic Management and a Bachelor's in Political Science and Law.
His extensive experience in coordinating, translating, and managing humanitarian efforts, especially in challenging environments, makes him a valuable member of our nonprofit board.

Tiffany Howard is a seasoned Human Resource Manager with 15 years of distinguished service at Walmart. Her expertise in HR and passion for mentoring extends to her personal life, where she enjoys family time and community involvement.
